5 Days Tour from Marrakech to fes

Day 1: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ait ben haddou Kasbah - Ouarzazate

we will start Our first Day in 5 Days Desert tour from Marrakech to Fes after breakfast from (the riad or the hotel ) where you spent a night and we’ll start our trip from there via Tizi-Ntichka (Atlas Mountains)with its panoramic view and landscapes.

We’ll have lunch at the restaurant in Ait ben Haddou kasbah after you visit it, we’ll continue the way to Ouarzazate via studios of that city, you can have a suggestion if you want to visit these studios or not, then we’ll have to spend our first night in the hotel/riad.

Day 2: Ouarzazate - kasbah of Amridil - valley of roses - valley of Dades - gorges of Todra - desert of Merzouga

Our second day will start in the morning after breakfast we will continue our way through the Atlas mountains to Skoura, we will visit Kasbah Amridil: One of the best reeds in Morocco, these wonders of the seventeenth century appeared on the mark Dh 50, Located a few hundred meters from the main road, this living museum shows the life of a traditional kasbah over the centuries, with hand-carved door locks, Olive oil piston and baking ovens that still worked where animals were previously kept, The Kasbah is divided into two parts, each with its own entrance – the one on the right retains an authentic feel and has a higher balcony.

Then we will continue our way through the valley of the roses to the valley of the Dades and the gorges of the Todra, where we will admire the landscapes of the palm trees and the green valley, after that, we will go to the desert of Merzouga and we will have a night in the hotel/ riad.

Day 3: Tour around Merzouga Desert

After breakfast at the hotel, you will begin your 5 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes, starting with a visit to the village of black people, originally slaves of Sudan, Mali, and Senegal to discover their music and lifestyle.

Later we will cross the desert to meet nomadic families living in Berber tents and explore their lifestyle.

Today you will have traditional Berber lunch (Berber pizza) in a Local family home.

You will also have the opportunity to visit the ancient city of Rissani – the foundation of the Alawite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco.

Rissani is surrounded by about 360 Ksar (a fortified village with many towers) and has a large souk (a four-door open market), held three times a week.

Once called Sijilmassa, it was the meeting place of the salt caravans, coming from Timbuktu in Mali.

Here you will walk into the souk to find out.

After this, we will return to the village of Merzouga.

In the afternoon, you will ride a camel, led by an experienced camel guide to exploring what is hidden among the highest sand dunes in Morocco.

The camel ride takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to the camp, where you can enjoy the sunset and watch the stars.

Dinner will be at the restaurant in a Desert camp where you will spend the night.

And as you finish your dinner, typical drum music played by the locals will make your evening more enjoyable.

Day 4: desert camp - Errachidia - Midalt - Azrou - Ifran - Fes

In the morning after the sunrise and breakfast, we have to leave the desert camp via Erfoud to Errachidia where a panoramic view exists, we’ll see the forest of the Ziz valley, take some pictures then continue the way to Midelt that famous for apples, we have lunch at the way after Midelt we’ll see some village and small cities besides the way to Azrou forest where monkeys wild existing, we see the monkeys for a little time then continue the way to the second cleanest city in Morocco and the second Australia which is Ifran city, we’ll see the stone lion, after that, we’ll leave it to Fes.

Day 5: Visit Fez with our local guide

After resting from the trip and having breakfast in the riad of the medina of Fez, it’s time to start exploring this fascinating city, one of the great attractions of this week-long route in Morocco.

You will be accompanied by our official guide, in Spanish, with whom you will meet at the hotel or at the agreed place.

The guided tour, which will take place in the morning, will take you through the main monuments of the city and the most emblematic places of the medina, declared World Heritage by Unesco.

Some of these places can be the Karaouine mosque and the university that houses (one of the oldest in the world), the madrasas of Bou Inania and Attarin, the most popular places like Nejjarine, the souks and the most authentic artisan neighborhoods like the tanners… and a long etcetera.

Fez is one of the largest cities in North Africa, so some places of interest may be excluded from the morning street.

Therefore, the free afternoon of this day can be a good complement to continue discovering the city: the navigator (Jewish quarter) Royal Palace with spectacular golden gates, or museums like Borj Nord is an interesting suggestion for this period.

Or the popular shops and places downtown, because the trades of this city are one of the best trades in the whole country.
